Job Description
Background: We’re seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to serve as Community Outreach Specialists (Campaign Canvassers) for an exciting political initiative in Seattle, WA. This role offers a unique opportunity to connect with community members, build meaningful relationships, and advocate for key issues that affect our region. Your work will directly influence the success of our campaign, ensuring we reach every corner of the community.
Roles/Duties:
- Engage with the Community: Knock on doors to share campaign information, answer questions, and inspire action.
Data Collection: Accurately record interactions and gather feedback from community members to refine campaign strategies.
Represent the Campaign: Serve as an ambassador for the campaign's mission and values, maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm in all interactions.
Collaborate with Team Members: Participate in regular training sessions and team meetings to stay informed and aligned with campaign goals.
Job Requirements:
- Passion for Advocacy: A genuine interest in politics, community engagement, or social impact.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to engage in meaningful conversations with diverse groups of people.
Reliability: Punctual and committed to meeting daily outreach targets.
Flexibility: Comfortable working outdoors, walking for extended periods, and adapting to a variety of neighborhoods.
Prior canvassing or campaign experience is a plus but not required.
